Tulipaloissa ja palovammojen hoidossa paikalle on perinteisesti loitsittu apua erilaisilta kylmiltä jumalilta jäisestä neidistä hyiseen akkaan ja puhurin poikaan pakkaseen. Jäisessä neidissä runolauluperinne ja inkeriläiselle yhtyerunolaululle tyypillinen heterofonia yhdistyvät groovaavaan viuluun ja Saarijärven kanteleen helähteleviin huiluääniin.

Fires and burns have been traditionally treated by conjuring help from various cold gods, such as the icy maiden, the frosty hag and the son of the freezing gale. In Jäinen neiti, Icy Maiden, the Finno-Ugric runolaulu tradition and the heterophony typical of Ingrian ensemble runolaulu are combined with a groovy fiddle and jingling harmonics of the Saarijärvi kantele.
